Marine diesel engines require uniquely formulated oils to help address the well-known negative effects of heavy oils and distillate fuels. Oils formulated for marine diesel must meet original equipment manufacturers’ (OEMs) requirements and the highly growing demands of shipowners which are influenced by changing specifications.
Packages’ applications and benefits
Our marine engine additive packages enable the blending of lubricants for applications in cross head engine cylinder or systems oils and trunk piston engine oils. These include TBN booster packages and cascade system additives.
